See more detail (click)Paul will lead the crowds through all six days of the Festival as he plays and sings with every ensemble on the program, culminating with his hand-picked Paul Williamson Festival All Stars on the main stage at the Bellerive Boardwalk on Sunday, 28 February.
Paul is a highly experienced freelance musician, working solidly since the early eighties with high-profile artist such as Vince Jones,
Jane Clifton, the Black Sorrows, Dynamic Hepnotics, Ruby Carter, Jimmy McGriff (US Hammond Organist - Australian tour and New York 1990, Lucky Peterson (US Hammond Organist - Australian tour 1992), Zydeco Jump, Tonight Live Show Band, John Paul Young,
Leo Sayer, The Models, Bob Bertles, Renee Geyer, Duke Robillard, George Coleman, and Lenny Pickett.He currently leads his own ensemble, the Paul Williamson Hammond Combo. The band has maintained many residencies in Melbourne, the longest running at seventeen years and has toured extensively, including most Australian capital cities.
